The Stem Extensions are designed to be used with your existing stem to add high and comfort to your tying experience. Stem Extensions are available for the Presentation 3000, 4000, and Master Series Vises only.
Stems are vise specific and designed for c clamps or pedestal bases.

Fits my old Traveler vise, an inch taller than the original post which brings it to comfortable height, the original was too short

My intention was to order an extension but received a regular stem like the one that came with the vise. It won’t attach to existing stem and would be entirely to tall if it could.
What I wanted was a 3 or 4 inch extension to raise vice closer to eye level.
I haven’t made time to ask about returning the stem or order an extension.
Assistance will be appreciated.

The part fit the vice well and the extra 2” in length from the standard 7” makes fly tying easier. The vice part was stripped and we haven’t been able to use the vice until getting this part, works great now!
