The C 4000 Vice Head precisely fit my existing stem, which was from the first Renzetti vice ever made in the 70's. The new lever head far surpasses the old turning knob to hold flies of all sizes. I don't know why I waited so long to convert. The salesperson's assurances that the head would fit my ancient stem, assuaged all my concerns about the fit. A big WHEW when it so easily screwed on! You staff is great and the vises you make are even greater. I also possess a Traveler!
