The thought and evolution of this vice has clearly proven itself, it is not the mere cosmetics that make this vice worth the money rather it is the decades of effort and thought in the business end of the vice, the jaws themselves. All the reviews I see are simply about cosmetics, this biggest most notable asset are the jaws. The ability to hold the hook consistently and with a very positive feel. The engineering is the real eye opener. The cam is a winner and should be the headline. Time and thoughtful design is always worth the money, no question. Clint Bova www.cjbovarods.com
This is by far the best fly tying advice I have ever used. Ever bit of this vise feels sturdy and it’s very well constructed. It’s easy to make adjustments and get your hook clamped tight in the jaws. I don’t have of everything. It’s a beautiful piece of artwork.
