The Hinged Stem are designed to allow the fly tyer to pivot the vise and still use the rotary feature.
Stems are vise specific and designed either for c clamps (8") or pedestal bases (6"). The Tightening Knob on the Hinged Stem is also available in 2 different colors, anodized clear and anodized black which you can select to best match your existing vise.

Game changer. Plus additional height replaces the extender I was using

It does its job well but should be steel.
It does a great job for me. I only wish it were made of stainless steel and 7” long. My Master vice deserves the added weight that steel would provide and a bright steel finish on the stem would compliment the brass fittings. The aluminum stem cheapens the Master vice’s overall look.
