I've been tying on my Traveler vise for 30 years with no complaints whatsoever. It was time for a new midge jaw since most of the flies I tie are in the 16-24 sizes. After all that time, the old jaw was still in pretty good shape but needed to be updated. The new jaw went in easily, operates smoothly, and holds hooks securely.

Midge jaws
I recently started tying in size 24 and my original renzetti jaws were difficult to adjust for that size. Now I've been tying for 40yrs but usually in sizes 6 to 16. So I figured I might try a set of midge jaws. Wow. What a difference. The lever handle makes setting the hook in the jaw easy. The colorful bands help keep it all together. I am duly impressed. A well spent buck. Look great and make everything so much easier for winter midge fishing.
